Here is your workshop ~

I created this workshop as part of a series. My intention was to show how easy it is to find inspiration in books. I also wanted to demonstrate that even books written for young children are chock full of ideas for ALL ages!

Part giant book review, part tutorial – you’ll learn how to spin creative activities from books & discover ways to weave them into your academic lessons, too.

This was a presentation which was originally commissioned by a friend of mine. Since I created it for students who were unfamiliar with my work, I introduce myself & my POV. I know you’re aware of that – but it only takes a couple of minutes.

I hope you enjoy this workshop. It was such fun to create – I LOVE books (I own all of these btw) & adore stretching their use far beyond just reading them once & setting them aside. When you start looking at books from this point of view, you’ll suddenly realize you have fuel for lesson, after lesson, after lesson….!
